So, I debated for hours whether I should put this up today, since I was planning on doing it since I finished the staining last night. It sort of feels like cheating with the boot tutorial getting a daily deviation, but in the end I realized that if it doesn't go up now, it will never go up. I'm just that bad at procrastination.

This is a hand-tooled leather coaster featuring the Aperture logo from Portal. The leather is stained a blue-black color, and it's made from veg-tanned leather and all eco-flo products. I did a resist on the raised parts, resulting in a bit of an aged look that I think looks like the beat up logo in Portal 2. A happy accident, I'll admit. The coaster is backed with royal blue wool felt.

I'm still a novice leatherworker, so it's not perfect, but I like how it came out.
